Experience

He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw and the American Law Center organised at the University of Warsaw in cooperation with the University of Florida F.G. Levin College of Law. He completed postgraduate studies in intellectual property law at the H. Grotius Center for Intellectual Property Rights in Krakow. Winner of the competition for the best master's thesis on intellectual property announced by the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland.

    Comprehensively advises Polish and international clients on obtaining protection and combating infringements in proceedings involving trademarks, industrial designs, patents, copyrights and acts of unfair competition. He develops and implements strategies for the protection of intellectual property rights, including those with an international dimension. He represents them before the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland, the EUIPO and the International Bureau of WIPO. He advises on technology transfer and commercialisation, in particular drafting and negotiating exclusive rights transfer agreements and licence agreements. He also has extensive experience in projects due dilligence on analysing the state of businesses in terms of intangible assets and exclusive rights, their benefits and risks.

     

     

    He also focuses his interests on issues related to
    new technology law and the protection of personal data and privacy.
    Drafts and negotiates IT contracts, including implementation contracts, in the field,
    Licensing maintenance and development. He has been involved in numerous IT projects,
    including those carried out in agile methodologies, both on the
    contractors and contracting authorities. He also advises clients on RODO, data protection and privacy, advertising law, e-commerce and consumer trading.

    In addition, he has experience in competition law, both in antitrust and concentration control proceedings before the President of the OCCP and the European Commission.
