VIII Seminarium AI
Dnia 26 października br. członkowie naszego seminarium AI oraz zaproszeni goście spotkali się w siedzibie kancelarii BSJP|bnt w Warszawie, podczas VIII Seminarium Grupy Badawczej „Prawo i Technologia”. Przedmiotem seminarium było omówienie obowiązków i wyzwań przedsiebiorców związnaych z projektem rozporządzenia AI, z uwzględnieniem najnowszych propozycji Parlamentu Europejskiego przyjętych 16 czerwca br., składających się z 771 poprawek do pierwotnego tekstu projektu.

VII Seminarium AI
VII Seminarium grupy badawczej Prawo i Technologia, odbyło się 18 sierpnia 2023 r. w iście letnim i wakacyjnym klimacie w Ogrodzie Botanicznym Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego. W związku z tym, iż jesień przygotowała dla nas dużo zmian dotyczących zarówno regulacji prawnych dot. AI jak i wprowadzi nowe rozwiązania AI na rynki światowe, podczas spotkania podsumowaliśmy ostatnie miesiące rozwoju sztucznej inteligencji.

VI AI Seminary
One year since the start of our AI Seminar, the 6th meeting of the Law and Technology research group took place in Krakow on 26.05.2023. We started the seminar with a paper by Dr Iga Bałos-Stoczewska on intellectual property law, in the context of the development of artificial intelligence, followed by a discussion on the impact of new technologies on our lives.

V AI Seminary
Our 5th Seminar took place on 9 March in one of the buildings of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University. This time it was hosted by invited guests Aleksander Caban and Błażej Szaflik from the company Carbon Studio S.A., who presented us with their new project using deep learning AI to create advanced 3D landscapes.

IV AI Seminary
On 9 December 2022, the fourth meeting of the interdisciplinary team consisting of researchers from the Future Law Lab of the Jagiellonian University, computer scientists/programmers and lawyer-practitioners from the BSJPtech project took place. Our joint meeting, in hybrid form, took place at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in the Auditorium Maximum. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the workflow and main points of the Artificial Intelligence Ordinance (AI Ordinance).

III AI Seminary
On 7 October 2022, the third meeting of the interdisciplinary team consisting of researchers from the Future Law Lab UJ, computer scientists/programmers and lawyer-practitioners from the BSJPtech project took place. Our joint meeting, in hybrid form, was again held at the headquarters of the Soneta Company. The object of the meeting was to present and discuss the main research streams on Artificial Intelligence and law.

II AI Seminary
On 15 July 2022, the second meeting of the interdisciplinary team consisting of researchers from Future Law Lab UJ, computer scientists/programmers and lawyer-practitioners from the BSJPtech project took place. This time we hosted the enova365 producer at the headquarters of the Soneta Company. The subject of the meeting was case studies from the practice of IT companies that design or implement AI-based IT solutions.

I AI Seminary
On 20 May this year, the first meeting of an interdisciplinary team consisting of researchers from the Future Law Lab at the Jagiellonian University, computer scientists/programmers and lawyer-practitioners from the BSJPtech project took place. The team will focus on exploring issues at the intersection of new technologies and law, in particular law and AI.
